In the workplace, millions of notes, emails, and documents are created every day in an ad hoc and unstructured way. With Tiny, organizations take control of content creation with APIs to embed editing directly into their workflow. We leverage the cloud to provide a powerful and scalable solution to developers and increase the quality of content created by millions of users.

We are seeking a VP or Senior Director for our exciting next stage of growth. Working closely with the rest of the leadership team, you will be responsible for leading our customer acquisition and growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate has proven themselves in a high growth SaaS or open source company and is now looking to take on the challenge of developing a world-class revenue machine at a startup.


  • Meet and exceed sales objectives developed jointly with the CEO.
  • Manage experiments in pricing and online acquisition techniques.
  • Work with the sales team on deal strategies to manage the pipeline and provide forecasts
  • Execute, monitor and improve outbound sales development and other prospecting activities to generate pipeline
  • Analyze, report on and improve upstream metrics such as the number of demos/conversations, new pipeline, sales cycle length
  • Business development - develop and maintain key partner relationships that will result in long-term success for the company
  • Recruit, select and onboard new employees
  • Establishes objectives and key results for each team and person. Employee performance management - review, coaching, disciplining, etc.
  • Establish the best administrative systems for predicting, monitoring, evaluating, and improving sales performance


  • Brainpower, fearlessness, leadership, and passion to execute a long-term strategy while still achieving short-term revenue objectives for the company. You are process-oriented and analytical.
  • Experience with a massive online funnel.
  • Experience selling to developers, product managers, and their executives. Experience in working with an open source community/product.
  • Experience in closing and growing recurring SaaS and OEM deals.
  • Startup experience managing 100%+ annual growth
  • You have personally interviewed and hired dozens of salespeople and growth marketers.
  • Perfect oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree
